The JVC KW-V230BT car stereo is a modern 2-DIN multimedia receiver with a 6.2-inch touchscreen WVGA display (800x480 resolution), designed to replace the factory audio system in a vehicle. The device features a built-in DVD/CD player that supports playback of DVD/VCD/CD/CD-R/RW discs, as well as MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, JPEG, and MPEG1/2 files via USB or discs.

A key feature is built-in Bluetooth 3.0 with an external microphone for hands-free calling (supports HFP 1.6 with wideband speech for natural voice quality), audio streaming (A2DP/AVRCP), phonebook access, and voice dialing. For iPhone, it supports Siri Eyes Free, while for Android (version 4.1 and above), the JVC Music Play app enables convenient track search and control of Pandora/Spotify.

Power output: peak 50W × 4 channels, RMS 22W × 4. It includes a 13-band graphic equalizer with 8 presets, Volume Link EQ for road noise compensation, and time alignment. Outputs: 6-channel pre-outs (4V), rear-view camera input, and steering wheel control support (with adapter).

Additionally: AM/FM tuner with 18/6 presets, front USB port for charging and playback, multilingual interface (17 languages).
