The charging case is designed to ensure the continuous operation of Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses of the first and second generations. The device functions as a portable external battery, allowing you to charge the glasses anywhere without the need for constant connection to a power outlet. When the glasses are placed inside, they are fixed exactly in the center on the nose pad, where special metal contacts for energy transfer are located. The built-in battery of the case stores enough energy for up to 8 full recharge cycles of the smart device, providing a total of up to 32–48 hours of additional glasses operation depending on the intensity of use of their functions.

A specially designed accelerated energy replenishment algorithm allows you to charge the built-in battery of the smart glasses to 50% in just 22 minutes, and a full charge cycle takes 75 minutes. The case itself is powered through a standard USB-C port located at the bottom of the case. It takes 3.5 hours to fully restore the charge of the case itself when connected to any power adapter with a power of 5 W or more. The front panel has an LED indicator displaying the current battery status and the charging process of the glasses and the case itself. The charge level is also transmitted to the proprietary Meta View mobile application.
