Platinum Tools 100010C - is a set of unshielded RJ-45 connectors used for unshielded patch cords. The connectors have a well-thought-out design. They have blades with specific connectors, which allows them to be used for crimping both solid and stranded (patch cord) cables. The connectors are compatible with CAT6 cable. They support Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 meters. Additionally, they can be used with 10 Gigabit networks. CAT6 cable is designed for a frequency of 250 MHz, while Category 5e only supports a frequency of 100 MHz. Thus, CAT6 cable is capable of handling large amounts of data. The connectors have 8 contacts, covered with a thin layer of precious metals, which improves their conductivity. It is recommended to use special protective boots with them (for example, TWT-BO-6.0-xx/100). These boots are necessary to provide the correct cable bend radius.
