NUK

NUK is a well-known German brand specializing in baby products, especially nipples and feeding bottles. The name NUK stands for “Natürlich und Kiefergerecht”, which translates to “Natural and Orthodontic” in German. This reflects their philosophy of creating products that support a child's natural development, especially in the area of the dento-alveolar system.

The NUK brand was founded in 1956 by two German dentists, Dr. Wilhelm Balters and Dr. Adolf Müller. They developed the first orthodontic-shaped pacifier that took into account the natural physiological development of the baby's mouth.

Over time, NUK has expanded its product line to include feeding bottles, pacifiers, baby care products such as teethers and sterilizers, and more. NUK actively invests in research and development, working with medical experts and dentists to improve its products.
