Automatic blood pressure monitor Omron M400 Intelli IT

OMRON M400 Intelli IT is an automatic upper arm blood pressure monitor with an arrhythmia detection function. It comes with the Intelli Wrap cuff, equipped with an integrated motion sensor that detects movement during measurement and reduces the number of errors. Additionally, there is a cuff positioning control that indicates the correct cuff position.

Measured values can be transferred to the OMRON connect application via Bluetooth. The internal memory is designed for two users with 60 measured values each (including a guest mode). In addition to clinical validation, the device is also validated for use by diabetics and pregnant women. As a result, it is particularly recommended for these patient groups.

The unique Intelli Wrap cuff with 360-degree accuracy features:

• A large measuring area (360 degrees) - no "blind zone" for measurement, the measurement is taken across the entire surface of the arm, even if the cuff is applied in such a way that the artery marking does not fully align with the actual location of the artery.
• A snug cuff design allows for easy application with one motion and eliminates discomfort from squeezing the arm during measurement.
• Thanks to its universal cuff size, it is suitable for users with different arm circumferences ranging from 22 to 42 cm.

Omron M400 Intelli IT has several advantages. 

Arrhythmia indicator. If an irregular heartbeat is detected during measurement, but the result is accurate, it is displayed on the screen along with the arrhythmia indicator.

High blood pressure indicator. Appears if the systolic blood pressure is 135 mmHg or higher and/or the diastolic blood pressure is 85 mmHg or higher.

Motion indicator. To obtain an accurate measurement result, it is necessary to remain still and avoid any movements. This indicator is sensitive to movements during the measurement and signals the need to repeat the measurement for a more accurate result if any movements are detected.

Memory for 60 measurements with date and time registration for two users + guest mode. Blood pressure fluctuates throughout the day. OMRON has equipped its monitors not only with sufficient memory capacity but also with the essential function of recording the date and time of each measurement. This model is designed for monitoring blood pressure for two users. The data is stored in two separate compartments, and each user can review their own blood pressure readings at any time. The guest mode is used for taking a single blood pressure measurement for another person. In guest mode, the measurement results are not saved in the memory.

Averaging function for 3 measurements over the past 10 minutes. Blood pressure levels are never constant. To obtain an objective blood pressure value, doctors recommend taking the average of three consecutive measurements taken with a 2-3 minute interval. Modern OMRON blood pressure monitors have an automatic function for calculating the average values of pressure and pulse based on the results of the last three measurements taken within 10 minutes.

Cuff fixation indicator. The monitorThe indicator of proper cuff fixation is provided for arterial pressure in the form of a user-friendly graphic icon. In case of improper fixation, the indicator will not display "OK" inside the icon, in which case the measurements should be repeated for a more accurate result. The shape of the cuff, its quality, and the correctness of its application are key factors in obtaining an accurate measurement result.
